James P. Lotakis, DDS, MA
Originally from Katonah, New York, Dr. Lotakis received his Bachelor’s of Science (BS) degree from Sienna College. Upon graduation, he enrolled in the Master’s program for Biology at CUNY Lehman College, graduating in 1999 with a Master’s degree. His passion for helping people led him to pursue a dental degree from the NYU College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Lotakis completed his general practice residency at Lutheran Medical Center and has been in private practice ever since. Committed to staying abreast with the latest advances in general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Lotakis regularly attends continuing education courses and maintains membership with the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society. Dr. Lotakis’ wife is a prosthodontist, and they have a one-year-old son. Dr. Lotakis unwinds with fly fishing and quality time spent with his family.
